My Story
Support Paragon Skills' Marketing Team in their epic trek for care workers!
This September, four determined members of the Paragon Skills Marketing Team, Lee, Ben, Jamie, and Sarah, are taking on an incredible challenge to support The Care Workers’ Charity. They’ll be lacing up their boots and tackling the breathtaking trails of the Thames Footpath and The Ridgeway in Oxfordshire, all in the name of raising funds for care workers across the UK.
The challenge: On Thursday, 11th September, as part of Professional Care Workers Week, our team will embark on a stunning one-day trek, doing a 42km full-marathon route hiking through some of the most scenic and historic landscapes in the country.
Why this matters: Care workers dedicate their lives to looking after others, often under challenging circumstances. The Care Workers’ Charity provides vital financial and emotional support to these everyday heroes when they need it most. By sponsoring our team, you’re directly helping to provide emergency grants, mental health support, and other essential resources to those who care for the vulnerable in our communities. Paragon Skills is the leading apprenticeship provider for the care sector, supporting over 5000 care professionals to develop their careers in this important sector, helping to create our carers of the future.
The Route:
42km full-marathon: A true test of endurance, pushing participants through stunning yet demanding terrain for a challenging and unforgettable experience.
How You Can Help: Lee, Ben, Jamie, and Sarah each have a fundraising target of £500, and every donation, big or small, makes a difference. Your support will help them reach their goal and, more importantly, ensure care workers receive the assistance they deserve.
Join us in making a difference! Sponsor our team today and be part of something extraordinary. Together, we can show our appreciation for care workers and help them when they need it most.
Thank you for your generosity and support!
